How this works
- Sheets divides the price by the total sheets in the pack. It's the simplest comparison, but sheet sizes differ a little between brands and lines.
- Paper area divides by square feet of paper (sheets × sheet width × sheet length), so bigger sheets count for more.
- Area × ply also counts a 3-ply square as 1.5 times a 2-ply square.
- What matters more picks the winner. Cheapest ignores softness. Balanced pays up to 10% more per sheet for each point of softness (out of 10). Softest picks the softest rated roll. How softness is rated.
- Roll sizes come from pack labels and can change. If your pack says something different, pick Custom and type in its numbers. Sources and notes.
